Have you ever wondered what would happen if the animals took over a farm and ran it by themselves? This is what exactly happens in the book Animal Farm by George Orwell. Animal Farm is about a farm which animals take over. All the animals has a role in history. It's based on the Russian Revolution. Boxer is a horse that works very hard and has great strength. Boxer is the hardest worker and most loyal out of all the other animals, but he is stupid, which leads to his death.
Boxer worked hard for Mr. Jones the farmer before he was overthrow. Boxer still works hard with Napoleon in charge. Old Major said “ You, Boxer the very day that those great muscles of yours lose their power, Jones will send you to the Knacker” (Orwell 9). Old Major was saying the day he quits working he will go the knackers to get slaughter. I think this is why Boxer works so hard. Boxer works hard and Napoleon cut back on their food and acts like that doesn’t bother him. During the battle of cowshed Boxer was was rearing up in hind legs to fight back. Early in the book Boxer made a motto “I will work Harder!” (Orwell 29). Boxer worked hard to get the windmill back up and he even worked after hours. He had one motto that was“ I will work harder” than later in the book he add “Napoleon is always right” (Orwell 61) to his motto. Snowball was being a traitor during the cowshed battle. The cowshed battle Boxer kill the stable boy. “I have no wish to take life, not even human life” (Orwell 43). Boxer was sad he kill the boy and Snowball was happy because he was like it one less person to worry about. Snowball was always loyal to Boxer. Boxer always agree with Napoleon he was always like if Napoleon say so. When the windmill fell down it was from storm but Napoleon says it was Snowball, so the animal wouldn't think he a bad leader and didn’t know how to do
