The workload in this industry in reliant on what the client want, the client can range from an individual who hired you for their wedding, or your client can be someone who recently died and needs to be prepped for the open casket funeral. Clients may have a specific look planned out and expect you to follow the pictorial precisely, or the client may not have any idea and rely on the artist's expertise to concoct a unique and trendy look that is flattering. The hours and days can fluctuate by the client’s request or by the artist’s preference. Other main attributes of this career include, sanitizing, infection control, and working up close to the general public. To become a makeup artist, the cosmetology license is needed to be obtained first, this require 1,500 hours in a cosmetology institute and passing both the written and practical examination.
