On completing the test during the first section of the testing procedure I experience certain amounts of anxiety. However after executing the identification category on pictures of old and young faces the nervousness disappeared. Meanwhile, I had concerns about speed level and question if it would affect the outcome of my IAT performance.
Therefore, I continue to the introduction of categorizing pictures of older adults with severe words and young adults with good words my responses became easier operating primarily in the automatic system. According to on my IAT test data results suggested a slight automatic preference for the young compared to old. Nevertheless, this information was not surprising in fact for the last twenty plus years I have worked with young children ranging from five to twelve years of age in education.
