One of the problems was that no one had the option to decide anything about the farm except the pigs. Since the beginning the pigs had been the ones who made all the decision in the farm. Whenever an animals try to say something the pigs didn’t agree or question the pigs Squealer would explain how “Napoleon is always right.” So no one ever tried to make a decision about the farm or try to make life better for themselves or others. Throughout the story things in the farm change and even though they knew things were changing no one did anything about it. For example, when the seven commandments were getting changed and no one would argue about it.On page 75 of the book Napoleon order the nine dogs to kill all the animals that had betrayed him. Later when Colver went to check the seven commandments it had been change from “No animal shall kill any other animal” to “No animal shall kill any other animal, without cause.” Or when the pigs change the one of the rules from “No animal shall sleep in a bed” to “ No animal shall sleep in bed with sheets,” because they started sleeping inside the house.
