Urie Bronfenbrenner was a Russian-American developmental psychologist. Bronfenbrenner’s Ecological model is a theory of educational psychology that studies human development over time and was first established in 1975. He believed that a person’s development was affected by everything in their surrounding environment, therefore, he divided the environment up into five different levels.
