The time was 1956, in the United States of America. The U.S. army was fighting an enemy force that came from Europe in the state of Iowa. They were on a mission to take out Europe's camps.
Bang! The sound of gunfire in the distance. Jack stood, holding his wood grained rifle in his hand ready to fire at any moment. Nate and George were on either side of him with the rest of the soldiers behind them.
Jack's blue eyes reflect the setting sun, with his flowing hair dancing in the wind. Jack was also respectful and caring for other people. He looked over to Nate and George which are not as good looking as him but their looks fit their kind personality.
Jack whispered,“Are you ready?”
They replied, “I was born ready.”
They were ready to do their orders and were very nervous and anxious. …show more content…
Jack loudly whispered, “Hurry here! If we head one direction we should be able to get out of this mess.”
They started to jog away from the screeching voice of the General. Their boots were muddy but that wasn’t slowing them down.
George pull ahead of Jack but tripped on a corn stock and twisted his ankle. Jack and Nate stopped to help him up.
Jack said, “Are you okay?!”
George responded pantily, “NO, my ankle rolled and I can’t walk on it.”
Jack and Nate picked him up with his arms on their shoulders. Then they started to walk again.
Nate tiredly said, “I see a road! It’s ten rows ahead.”
The three of them pushed to get out and they were released from the corn prison. They laid down exhausted and fell asleep.
Nate woke up the next morning and said, “Get up we have to go.”
They startled awake, packed their things and tried to find foot prints. After a few minutes of searching they found a whole armies worth. They tied their boots and headed through the mucky road.
They have been walking for two hours when they heard the voice of the General again. He was coming towards them.
Jack said, “We have to move!
