Many people in the Afghan region suffer due to lack of clothing or money. In Afghanistan, clothing is a major priority and is one of the few luxuries some have. Both genders wear a posteen, which is very similar to a thick winter coat. It is crafted with sheepskin or felt in most cases. There are also pieces of attire that are specific to both sexes, such as the men wear turbans and the woman wear pakool. Specific headwear can symbolise where you are from or even your ancestors. With clothing, there is not much freedom to what you can wear due to Afghanistan being a socially conservative country.
